Welcome to Bonsai Clubs International
In the timeless embrace of bonsai, where slender branches reach toward the sky like threads weaving cultures together, a world of miniature wonders unfolds. Founded in 1960 as a beacon for enthusiasts worldwide, Bonsai Clubs International nurtures the living arts of bonsai and viewing stone appreciation through shared knowledge, ethical stewardship, and unbreakable bonds of international friendship.
Where Ancient Art Meets Global Harmony
From the misty gardens of Asia to the sunlit studios of Los Angeles, our community spans continents, inviting beginners to shape their first tree and masters to refine centuries-old legacies. As a non-profit dedicated to sustainability and inclusivity, we bridge traditions—Japanese elegance, Chinese penjing vitality, Korean subtlety, and Western innovation—while fostering a space where every leaf tells a story of growth and connection. Explore our resources, join our events, and become part of a legacy that roots deeper with every season.

1990s – 2000s
Hosting landmark international conventions in partnership with local clubs and governments across China, the U.S., Europe, and beyond.
2010s – Present
